Ten years ago, the Panamera injected Porsche DNA into the luxury saloon market, combining sports car performance with executive comfort. In August 2020, the new Panamera range was unveiled, and last week saw the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid debut at Goodwood Speedweek.
The glorious grounds of the Goodwood Motor Circuit became the focus of the motoring world from 16-18 October and Porsche took the opportunity to showcase the newest addition to the E-Hybrid range with the debut of the much anticipated Panamera 4S E-Hybrid.
The new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid offers 560 PS of power and 750 Nm of torque to deliver a 0-62 mph sprint in just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 185 mph*, all whilst boosting its electric range by up to 30%. The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid confirms its position as the top derivative in the series, with a stunning overall power of 700 PS and maximum torque of 870 Nm.
The new Panamera E-Hybrid models benefit from a larger high-voltage battery delivered by optimised battery cells. This has increased the capacity by 27% from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh, providing an increase in range of approximately 30% in both the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
The standard Sport Chrono Package includes hybrid specific driving modes which ensure maximum power and greater efficiency, helping to deliver a combined consumption of up to 128.4 mpg with just 51 g/km CO2 emissions in the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid.
The rear wheel drive Panamera range also benefits from a number of improvements, including a programme of enhanced chassis developments, next-generation steering systems and a new range of tyres which improve driving performance and comfort. In addition to the sports saloon body style, the new Panamera E-Hybrid models can also be ordered as Sport Turismo (or Executive, featuring a longer wheelbase, by special order only), depending on the drive system.
The new Panamera E-Hybrid models give you the ultimate family-friendly four-seats, combined with the performance and handling of a sports car. To find out more, please contact our Porsche Centre.
