Porsche announces the new all-electric Taycan

Announced today, the three new Taycan model variants (Sports Sedan, Cross Turismo, and Sport Turismo) offer more power, a longer range, faster acceleration, and improved charging speeds.

Depending on the body variant, the new all-electric Taycan has a 35% increased range of up to 421 miles (WLTP) as well as faster recharging of up to 320kW. All Taycan variants can charge from a 10 to 80 per cent state of charge in just 18 minutes. Dynamic performance remains a huge Taycan highlight with the Sports Sedan, Taycan and Taycan Turbo S reaching 62 mph from a standstill in just 4.8 and 2.4 seconds respectively.

Porsche Active Ride suspension can be added to all-wheel drive models, offering an unparalleled bandwidth between driving comfort and dynamics. During dynamic braking, steering and acceleration, the system absorbs the bumps almost completely offering a smoother more enjoyable ride. An advanced powertrain with a new rear-axle motor, all-wheel-drive strategy, and modified recuperation of up to 400 kW, contribute to the simultaneous improvement of efficiency and performance.

All model variants offer an extensive level of standard equipment, the latest generation of Porsche Driver Experience in the cockpit along with an enhanced display and control concept together with numerous other modifications.
