New Electric Macan

World premiere of the new electric Macan

30/1/2024

Porsche announced the new electric Macan at its world premiere in Singapore on the 25th January 2024, setting new standards with its first all-electric SUV.

The new Macan 4 and Macan Turbo deliver exceptional E-Performance and a high level of everyday practicality with the aim to completely fulfil the requirements of Porsche customers choosing an SUV.

The HV battery, with a gross capacity of 100 kWh, is a central component of the newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture, used by Porsche for the first time in the new Macan. The DC charging input is up to 270 kW enabling efficient charging from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes at a suitable fast-charging station. Up to 240 kW of energy can be recuperated whilst driving via the electric motors resulting in a range of up to 381 miles (613 km) in the Macan 4 and up to 367 miles (591 km) in the Macan Turbo.

Thanks to Porsche combining its design DNA with aerodynamics for optimised range as well as Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) with a drag coefficient of 0.25, the new Macan is one of the most streamlined SUVs available on the market resulting in positive effects on range and power consumption.
