The new 911 Dakar is a special vehicle concept inspired by our rallying heritage, combining the typical sports car DNA of the 911 with enhanced day-to-day usability and off-road capabilities.
Tested in extreme conditions around the globe, the 911 Dakar is purpose-built to go where no other 911 can, thanks to a variety of special modifications. Its heightened chassis (sitting 50 mm higher than the 911 Carrera) also benefits from a hydraulic lift system to further improve ground clearance. Designed to provide total confidence wherever you go, the 911 Dakar also features all-wheel drive, ‘RALLYE’ and ‘OFFROAD’ driving modes, various chassis systems and All-Terrain tyres.

Discover moreTo celebrate the 50th anniversary of Porsche Design, the 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design is an exclusive edition to the 911 family. This 911 Edition will be limited to 750 cars world-wide, with matching limited Chronographs. Porsche Design, passion that creates icons.
In reference to Porsche Design, this new 911 edition will be available in Black, or optional Jet Black. The black colour has always played a role in Porsche design, F. A. Porsche decided his first product, the Chronograph 1, was to be produced in black with white accents. The limited 911 Targa 4 GTS are based on the 1972 911 Targa, and will feature Satin Platinum accents, a silver-coloured ‘911’ with limited edition number on the dashboard trim.
An exclusive chronograph will be available for buyers of the Porsche 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design. Developed and manufactured by the Swiss manufacturers in Solothurn, this Chronograph is linked to the sports car via the laser engraving of the limited number on the case back. Based on the original from 1972, it cites clear design language and is equipped with the latest technology whilst remaining true to the overall appearance of the original, from the bilingual date display to the original red colour of the hands.
